Worship with us this Sunday, March 3 🙌
Join us this Sunday as we gather as the “household of faith” at 10 a.m. as Pastor Brad brings another message from Galatians. In this section, he will be exploring Chapter 6 and Paul’s powerful encouragement to the church to walk alongside one another, lifting each other up in love and compassion. We’ll delve into what it means to bear each other’s burdens, to restore gently, and to support our brothers and sisters in Christ.
During the 6 p.m. gathering, Pastor Brad will be leading another study in the “Gentle & Lowly” series. Be sure to read Chapter 4 and come with a heart ready to be encouraged. Whether you’re a longtime member or a first-time visitor, you’re always welcome at Stonington. Bring your joys, your struggles, and your open hearts.

Final Saturday of games!
As hard as it is to believe, the final weekend of the Upward Basketball 2024 season starts THIS Saturday, March 2, at 9 a.m. 🏀 Join us for an exciting day of competition, including a special match-up between the players and the coaches to round out the day.
This week’s theme verse comes from Joshua 24:24:
And the people said to Joshua, “The LORD our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey.”
The theme goes right along with that: “I can choose to worship and obey God every day.” In Chapter 24 of Joshuah, the Israelites are at a crossroads. Joshua, their leader, has gathered them at Shechem, where their forefathers once worshiped other gods. He proceeds to remind them of God’s faithfulness: how Abraham was called, how Moses led them out of Egypt, and how they crossed the Jordan. Joshua, then, gives them a choice: “Choose this day whom you will serve” — prompting the people to respond: “We will serve the Lord.” Their commitment to the Lord echoes a choice we must make as well: faith is a daily choice. Amid life’s challenges, we, too, must decide to follow God or idols.
Here’s the list of this week’s games:

11:20 a.m. Hoosiers vs Golden Flash
