Men, don’t forget about the time of prayer and encouragement in the Word THIS Saturday, January 27, at 8 a.m. in The Rock. Start your weekend right, with your brothers in Christ 💪
Come see the action!
Join us for another weekend of Upward Basketball THIS Saturday, January 27, at 9 a.m. 🏀 Thank you for your continued prayers and partnership in this ministry. The Lord is doing great things! This week’s theme verse comes from Joshua 4:24:
So that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the Lord is mighty, that you may fear the Lord your God forever.
The theme that goes along with this verse is, “I want to remember the great things God has done.” This is a very applicable lesson for all of us since it is so easy to forget the tremendous blessings that God gives on a daily basis. The noise and frustration of life often garner our attention more than God’s goodness. But that is why this encouragement from Scripture is so important. On the heels of crossing over the Jordan River, God commanded Joshua to set up pillars of stone specifically so that the people of God would remember all that God had done for them, for generations to come.
Here’s the list of this week’s games:
9 a.m. Panthers vs. Falcons
10:15 a.m. Bears vs. Leopards
11:20 a.m. Sooners vs. Hoosiers
12:25 p.m. Bucks vs. Mavericks
1:30 p.m. Warriors vs. Heat
2:40 p.m. Golden Flash vs. Green Wave
