Weekly Bulletin: 2023-01-11
“Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant to testify to the things that were to be spoken later, but Christ is faithful over God’s house as a son. And we are his house if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope” (Heb. 3:5–6).
It is supremely significant what the writer to the Hebrews does at the beginning of chapter 3, where, addressing Hebrew Christians, he takes aim at that most venerated and exalted of all Hebrew figures: Moses. The writer’s point isn’t to disparage Moses in their minds. Rather, he intends to show that Jesus is far superior to him, ushering in a greater and truer hope of deliverance than even Moses could have ever carried out.
Join us THIS Sunday, Jan. 15, at 10am as, Lord willing, I’ll be back in our series through Hebrews to show you how Jesus is better than Moses.
Also, don’t forget that this Sunday is Roll ’n Bowl Sunday! Which means, right after the morning service, stick around and enjoy some good food and good fellowship with your church family and friends. It also means, there will be no night service. See you Sunday!
Blessings 🙏 Pastor Brad
