Weekly Bulletin: 2023-01-04
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit” (John 15:1–2).
God the Father is the most holy Gardener. He knows each plant that he has planted and how to tend to them, care for them, and nurture them. It’s his desire that each plant he’s planted grows and bears fruit. For that to happen, sometimes he has to prune the plants or even uproot them. But, as Jesus says, that’s so that the plant “may bear more fruit.”
I hope you’ll join us on Sunday, Jan. 8, at 10am and 6pm as, Lord willing, I’ll be looking at an Old Testament example of this very truth, from the book of Jeremiah. During the evening service, we’ll be picking up our series through the letter of 1 John. Don’t miss it!
Blessings 🙏 Pastor Brad
