Weekly Announcements: 2022-05-25
Dear Church,
I was so blessed by this past week of worship. I was thrilled to be able to bring you a message out of Job, a book which I always find deeply resonant. We also had a great time worshiping with the Good’s and the church family of Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, along with several other churches, on Sunday evening. The worship was sweet, as was the fellowship. It’s a pretty staggering experience to see multiple churches come together as The Church, a.k.a. the Body of Christ.
This Sunday, Lord willing, will be just as full — even though we won’t have an evening service. During the 10am service, as the Lord wills, I’ll be bringing a message out of the Gospel of John, chapter 16, which is a passage I’ve continually turned to during these days of disconsolation. Jesus’s words to his apostles are amazingly hopeful:
In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
I pray you’ll be with us as we gather as a church family to celebrate the One True Overcomer, the Lord who has put everything under his feet, the Christ of God who has conquered fear and sin and death. When we come together, that’s who we’re exalting, that’s who we’re singing to!
Blessings 🙏 Pastor Brad
Note: There will be no evening service THIS Sunday, May 29 due to Memorial Day weekend.

Construction
For the next several weeks, the church sanctuary will look a little different. There might be signs of construction, which, at first, might seem like evidences of a mess. But actually, they’re signs of progress. I am so excited to see the finished product in the church sanctuary, and I hope you will continue to give towards this effort and pray that each phase of construction goes smoothly.
For more details on what we hope to accomplish, read this note from Pastor Brad.
