Thank You!

Dear Church,

I just wanted to say a word of thanks to everyone who helped out this weekend. What a tremendous few days of fun and worship and fellowship!

We had a sweet evening of praise during the Good Friday communion service. Thanks for all you who attended. The Egg Hunt on Saturday was so much fun, too! The kids looked like they had a blast! Thank you to those who spent hours planning and hiding eggs — and those who rehearsed for the skit, too.

Easter Sunday was another one of those “beautiful exhausting” days, with the Sunrise Service and Breakfast followed by the morning service. Thanks to all who helped in the kitchen get that breakfast ready. That was a great way to start the morning. And thanks to all the singers and musicians — that song service was tremendously worshipful.

Hopefully I’m not forgetting anyone. So many hands made this weekend possible. And all because we have a risen Savior! How wonderfully sweet to know we are the church of the redeemed and of the resurrection.

May you continue to mine the rich depths of Jesus’s resurrection to strengthen and solidify your faith and your walk. Happy Easter!
