Smelling God’s Blessings
Dear Church,
I know that for some of you, the new-carpet-smell was a little too much to handle. That scent can surely be strong, at times. Even still, that new-carpet-smell was a testament of God’s blessing, I’d say. From the new pews to the new carpet to the new platform, nearly everywhere you looked, there was something to praise the Lord for!
We embarked upon this project back in May. And beside for a few minor details, the sanctuary renovation project is all but done. It was so thrilling to walk through the sanctuary this past Sunday and enjoy the tokens of labor, both contracted and volunteered. So many individuals have put in so many hours over the last several weeks and months, and I’m grateful for each and every one of you.
But, most of all, I praise the Lord Jesus Christ, for his incredible bounty, his faithful love, and his continued direction and he leads this church throughout all the days that lie ahead. We owe all to his grace.
“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!” (Ps. 107:1).
Blessings 🙏 Pastor Brad
